A criminal hacking group calling itself ShinyHunters claims to have stolen sensitive medical data belonging to thousands of FBI special agents. The stolen records include fitness-for-duty examination results, containing information such as blood and urine test results, doctors' notes, full names, addresses, and badge numbers. The FBI acknowledged the breach on Wednesday and said it was investigating how the attack occurred. Security experts emphasize that medical data presents a permanent vulnerability, unlike passwords, which can be reset after theft.
