The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom made a strong statement this week. He said the UK will help Ukraine completely. He said this even after Russia warned about possible problems. This situation happened because the UK has been giving drones to Ukraine.

What Are Drones?

Drones are small aircraft without people inside them. They have cameras and can fly by remote control. Many countries use drones to observe things or for attacks during war. Ukraine has received drones from the UK to help defend itself against Russia.

Russia's Warning

Russia sent a message to the UK government. Russia said there would be bad results if the UK kept helping Ukraine with drones. Russia said that Ukrainian soldiers used British drones to strike targets inside Russia. This made Russia angry, and they wanted the UK to stop.

The UK's Answer

The UK Prime Minister answered quickly. He told everyone that the UK stands with Ukraine one hundred percent. He said the UK will not stop its support. He did not seem worried about Russia's warning. The UK believes Ukraine has the right to protect itself.

Why This Matters
