The United States and China are having a disagreement about business and money. The US wants other countries to stop buying things from Iran. China buys a lot of oil from Iran. Now China says it will protect its own business interests.
What Are Sanctions?
Sanctions are punishments that one country gives to another country. The US is making new sanctions against Iran. The US says other countries cannot buy from Iran or sell to Iran. If countries do not follow these rules, the US says it will punish them too.
China Buys Oil from Iran
