In England, pharmacies are expanding their role in healthcare. Starting soon, pharmacists will be able to treat twelve common health conditions. This change means people no longer need to visit their doctor first for these problems. Instead, they can go directly to their local pharmacy and receive treatment from a qualified pharmacist.
