A woman who alleges she was assaulted by seven men at a Cornell University fraternity house in 2024 is enduring sustained harassment online as people attempt to discover her identity. Her lawyer, Thomas Giuffra, told CNN that she is "under siege" through social media campaigns designed to unmask her. He emphasized that the woman, referred to as Jane Doe in legal documents, was incapable of providing consent because she was severely intoxicated when she arrived at the fraternity house and had allegedly been pressured to consume ketamine beforehand.
