Article

The United States moved some big military airplanes from a base in England. The airplanes are called B-1 bombers. President Trump said the US knew about a threat to the base. So the military decided to move the planes back to America. They did not want to leave the planes in danger.

What happened at the base?

In September, police found three strange vehicles near the air base. Police looked at these vehicles carefully. Six men were arrested. Five men were released. One man was a UK-Iranian national. The police are still investigating what happened. The US took this very seriously.

Why did they move the planes?

Trump said the US knew who made the threat. He did not say who the threat came from. Some people think the threat was about Iran. Others think someone wanted to damage the planes. The US decided it was safer to move the bombers to America. The planes are back at their home bases now.
