Different people have different reasons for shopping online. Some people cannot walk around stores easily. Some people think stores do not have their size. Other people find stores too loud or too busy. Online shopping lets them find what they want without these problems. Primark is a clothing store that now plans to send clothes to homes.

More people shop online every year. In 2019, online shopping was 18% of all shopping. In 2023, online shopping was 27% of all shopping. Many town centers have fewer stores now. People like the choice and price they find online. Some people still like going to stores, but many prefer to stay home.
